iRide Brand Logo
Versatile Logo Design
We designed this logo for an in-house app production, iRide ski and snow app. The beauty of this logo lies in its simplicity and the way we could reduce it to simply ‘iR’ which was used as the app launch icon and across various other media. The ident was also versatile enough to allow the production of a range of t-shirts and associated marketing materials including brochures and posters.

iRide App Logo
A Striking App Launch Icon
From the outset of the iRide App Project, we were aware we needed to make a logo that stood out but that was versatile enough to carry across all media. By reducing the full text to the base ‘iR’ text design, we were able to produce an instantly-recognisable app homescreen launch icon and favicon. This shortened, simpler version was also used on t-shirt designs, beermats, business cards, etc. A truly versatile design.
A Stunning In-House Development Project
iRide remains one of our most ambitious and successful projects to date, produced start to finish by our team of programmers, designers and marketing specialists. It’s a great example of our expertise and serves as evidence of what can happen when design meets programming meets PR and marketing. Learn more about the iRide app and marketing project.
SSA Logo Design
Website Logo Design
Ski Season Accommodation is another in-house project we developed which served to unite property owners in the French Alps with saisonnaires looking for season-long accommodation. This logo was deliberately designed with an attention-grabbing blue background which would stand out on our promo materials – videos, business cards and brochure – all of which featured snow graphics. Colour psychology plays a huge part in most graphic projects – but perhaps none more so than logo design.
ReUnionRide Logo
Event Logo Design
ReUnionRide was a ski / snowboard event scheduled to be held in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko. The concept was simple – a gathering of aging skiers and snowboarders who knew each other from back in the day. To encapsulate this idea, we employed a simple R / Reverse R logo – a nod to the past with the view to the future. Take a look at our Video Showcase to see how well this logo worked in the event branding.
App Logo Design
App Icons
We released a range of GuruApps – from the snow conditions reporting app, SnowGuru, to ParkourGuru – an app with video tutorials to help people learn freerunning. As part of a coordinated marketing drive, we maintained a consistent look and feel to these homescreen logos which were also used across the app stores for app store marketing.

Tenerife Logo Design
Your Logo – Your Brand’s First Impression
Your logo is often the first thing people see – it’s like your business’ handshake with the world. A strong, well-designed logo can instantly convey professionalism, trust and personality. Whether it appears on your website, blog, brochure or social media profile, it needs to be eye-catching, memorable and versatile across all formats.
A good logo doesn’t just look pretty – it works hard. From business cards to browser favicons, your logo must adapt without losing impact. In a world where impressions are formed in seconds, a great logo can mean the difference between being remembered and being forgotten.
- Simplicity: A clean, uncluttered design is more memorable and works better across different sizes and platforms.
- Scalability: Your logo should look just as good on a mobile screen as it does on a billboard or business card.
- Typography: The choice of font and typeface sets the tone – whether that’s modern, traditional, playful or formal. It should align with your brand personality.
- Colour Palette: Colours evoke emotion. A good logo uses colours strategically to reflect the brand’s identity and values.
- Relevance: Your logo should reflect what your business does and connect with your target audience. It shouldn’t just be trendy – it needs meaning.
- Versatility: It must work in black and white as well as colour, and be effective in both horizontal and stacked versions.
- Timelessness: A well-designed logo stands the test of time. Avoid fleeting design trends and aim for long-lasting appeal.
- Uniqueness: A great logo sets you apart from the competition. It should be instantly recognisable and not easily confused with others.

The Versatility of Great Logo Design
A well-designed logo is more than just a visual – it’s a flexible tool that can be used across every aspect of your business. From your website to your work uniform, your logo should be instantly recognisable, no matter the format. When done right, it becomes the visual cornerstone of your brand identity.
The true value of good logo design is seen in how easily it adapts – whether on digital platforms, print materials or promotional merchandise. Versatility is key: your logo should work in black and white, full colour, large formats or tiny icons – all without losing impact.
- Websites: Your logo appears on headers, footers, favicons and mobile menu bars – all requiring clarity and visual strength at small sizes.
- Business Cards: A crisp, professional logo makes an immediate impression and helps ensure you’re remembered after that first meeting.
- Social Media: Logos need to fit into circular profile images, square thumbnails and story icons – all requiring simplified, recognisable shapes.
- Billboards and Signs: On a large scale, your logo should be bold and readable from a distance – perfect for outdoor visibility and branding presence. This is why good logos should be designed in vector format for scalability.
- Merchandise and Uniforms: Whether it’s printed on a t-shirt or embossed on a mug, your logo should always stand out and reflect your brand accurately.
- Email Signatures: Even in the smallest digital spaces, a good logo adds a touch of professionalism to every interaction.
- Brochures and Flyers: Your logo helps tie together layout and brand messaging across printed media – boosting consistency and professionalism.
- Mobile Apps: App icons need to be instantly recognisable and reflect the style of the broader brand – a strong logo makes this possible.
- Packaging: From boxes to labels, a good logo builds brand trust and looks premium when used well on product packaging.
Powerful Logos That Stick in Your Head

- Apple: A sleek, minimalistic logo that communicates innovation, sophistication and simplicity. It works in any colour and size, everywhere from laptops to billboards.
- McDonald’s: The golden arches are globally recognisable – friendly, fun and striking. The logo is symbolic of consistency, fast service and familiarity.
- Nike: The ‘swoosh’ conveys motion, speed and performance – all without a single word. It’s proof that a strong symbol can become the entire brand.
- Coca-Cola: With its flowing, retro script, the logo oozes personality and nostalgia. It hasn’t changed much in over a century – because it works.
- BBC: The bold, blocky letters deliver simplicity and trust. It’s an example of how strong typography alone can become iconic with consistent usage.
- Google: The logo’s bright, playful colours and clean typeface reflect its friendly and accessible nature, changing just enough over time to stay current.
- FedEx: A brilliant use of negative space creates a hidden arrow between the ‘E’ and ‘x’, subtly reinforcing the brand’s message of movement and delivery.
